Shanaya Sharma, the television actress and model, was one of the invited guests at "Pratham Sankalp," a pre-release event mounted for the two-part epic Ramayana. New Delhi's Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan hosted the gathering on July 18, 2026, which set the film's worldwide promotional campaign in motion.
The evening brought the cast and creators of the sprawling project together in public for the very first time. Guests were shown an embargoed cut of the trailer, a preview kept under wraps until its scheduled reveal. That worldwide premiere is fixed for July 24, 2026.
Behind the film are director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra. Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash headline the cast. Two Oscar winners, Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman, have teamed up on the score. The release rolls out in two stages: Part 1 during Diwali 2026, and Part 2 the following year at Diwali 2027.
On the small screen, Sharma has earned recognition through parallel lead roles in Hindi dramas, along with appearances in music videos and independent ventures. Her work isn't confined to entertainment. She devotes time to youth mentorship and social causes at the national level.
Currently she serves as a jury member for the Empower Kids Personality School. Recognition came her way recently as well, when she was felicitated as a celebrity guest at the 25th Grand Ceremony organised by the Sanstha Adhikaar Manch.
Her turn at the Delhi launch placed her within a tightly curated set of attendees gathered for one of the year's most closely watched film events. Built on an epic scale and backed by a marquee cast and an international creative team, Ramayana has stirred plenty of anticipation long before it opens in theatres.
