CM Bhajanlal Sharma to Announce Major Welfare Initiatives for Farmers at Ajmer State-Level Conference

Jaipur : Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the Rajasthan government is working diligently to empower farmers and ensure their prosperity, aiming to achieve the vision of a developed Rajasthan. Continuing this mission, CM Sharma will present several welfare initiatives to the farmers of the state during the state-level farmers' conference in Ajmer on Friday, December 13, as part of the state government's first anniversary celebrations.
Welfare Announcements for Farmers
In the program, CM Sharma will directly transfer over ₹700 crore as the second installment of the Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi into the bank accounts of more than 70 lakh farmers. Additionally:
- ₹28 crore will be disbursed to 15,983 farmers for drip/sprinkler irrigation systems.
- ₹74 crore will be allocated to over 17,000 farmers for various activities, including farm ponds, pipelines, fencing, diggi construction, agricultural tools, and organic fertilizers.
- ₹80 crore will be transferred for solar pump installations under DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
- ₹200 crore in assistance will be provided to 3.25 lakh livestock farmers at ₹5 per liter.
- ₹22 crore will be granted as an incentive to 10,500 female students studying in agricultural faculties to promote agricultural education.
Inauguration of New Schemes
The Chief Minister will also launch several new initiatives, including:
- Mukhyamantri Mangla Pashu Bima Yojana
- Camel Conservation and Development Mission
- Installation of cow dung log machines in 100 gaushalas.
- 200 new bulk milk coolers and 1,000 new milk collection centers will be inaugurated.
- Under the Gopal Credit Card Scheme, 20,000 livestock farmers will receive interest-free loans of up to ₹1 lakh.
Additional Benefits for Farmers
Other announcements include:
- ₹300 crore subsidy under the PM Kusum-B scheme for solar pumps for 15,000 farmers.
- ₹10 crore for the first installment of warehouse construction in Gram Seva Sahakari Samitis.
- Farmers in Sikar district will benefit from online applications and approvals for land demarcation, name transfers, and boundary identification via Agri-Tech initiatives.
The Rajasthan government continues to focus on innovative programs and direct support for the agricultural community, furthering the development and prosperity of the state's farmers.
