Manushi Chhillar Speaks Out on NEET Paper Leak: 'I Too Had to Retake an Exam Because of a Paper Leak'

'It's not as simple as saying "just take the exam again"'

In the caption accompanying her post, Manushi addressed those who believe a re-examination is an easy solution.

She wrote:

"I've always believed that education is the greatest equalizer in an unequal world. Those who say, 'Just retake the exam,' fail to understand the sensitivity of the issue. I, too, had to take an exam twice in 2015 because of a paper leak. It's not just an exam—it represents years of hard work, sleepless nights, sacrifices, and dreams. Back then, we accepted the shortcomings of the system and the solution that was offered. A decade later, we expect change."

Calls for meaningful reform

Without making any political remarks, Manushi stressed that improving the education system is essential to protecting students' futures. She said every generation has a duty to strengthen institutions so that the next generation inherits a more reliable and fair system.

Her statement comes at a time when the NEET paper leak has sparked nationwide debate, with students and several public figures calling for greater transparency, accountability, and reforms in the country's examination system.
