Addressing a large gathering, PM Modi expressed reverence for the sacred land of Sangam, highlighting its historical, spiritual, and cultural significance.
A Landmark Event: Maha Kumbh 2025
The Prime Minister underlined the global prominence of the Maha Kumbh, calling it a testament to India’s spiritual heritage. He stated, “A new history is being written on the land of Prayagraj,” emphasizing the event's role in uniting people across the nation. PM Modi praised the tireless efforts of workers, sanitation staff, and volunteers in ensuring the success of such a grand event.
Key Projects to Boost Infrastructure
The inaugurated projects include 10 new Road Over Bridges (RoBs), permanent ghats, and riverfront roads designed to improve connectivity. The Prime Minister also launched major temple corridors, including the Bharadwaj Ashram Corridor, Hanuman Mandir Corridor, and Akshayvat Corridor, making pilgrimage more accessible for devotees.
