Coming from the humble town of Champaran, Bihar, Anupam Raj’s story is one of courage, determination, and believing in yourself when nobody else does. Raised in a middle-class family with simple values and big expectations, his journey wasn’t built on privilege or connections — it was built on passion.
Like many parents, Anupam’s father wanted him to choose a stable path, focus on studies, and secure a traditional career. But deep inside, Anupam always carried a love for dancing, acting, and performing. Creativity wasn’t just an interest for him — it was something he couldn’t ignore.
With constant encouragement from his elder brother, he made one of the biggest decisions of his life — moving to Delhi to pursue his dreams. He joined the Asian Academy of Film and Television, where he trained professionally in acting and performance. Adjusting to a new city came with struggles, challenges, and moments of self-doubt, but he remained focused on his goal.
