Barmer: The BJP in Barmer has taken a decisive step towards rejuvenation by electing Anant Ram Vishnoi as the new district president. After months of functioning under an acting district president, the announcement was made during a party meeting held as part of the "Sangathan Parv" initiative.
Anant Ram Vishnoi: A Leader with RSS Roots
Anant Ram Vishnoi brings to the table a wealth of experience, having served as an RSS pracharak for over four years. He was the district pracharak in Jalore for eight months and previously served as a Nagar pracharak. Currently, Vishnoi is a member of the BJP state executive committee. His deep association with the RSS highlights the BJP's emphasis on promoting dedicated and ideologically aligned leaders.
Sangathan Parv: A Transparent Selection Process
The election process was overseen by Education Minister and district in-charge Madan Dilawar. The procedure involved discussions with district leadership candidates and a final election meeting with BJP workers at the Agarwal Panchayat Bhawan. Speaking to the media, Dilawar emphasized the transparency and fairness of the selection process, calling it a hallmark of BJP's internal democracy.
