Friends of Rajsakhi: Social Media Influencers Workshop Held in Jaipur

Jaipur : The Rajasthan Rural Livelihoods Development Council (Rajeevika) organized the 'Friends of Rajsakhi' Social Media Influencers Workshop on Friday at the Rajasthan International Centre in Jaipur. The event was chaired by Ashutosh A.T. Pednekar, State Mission Director of Rajeevika and Secretary of the Rural Development Department.
Women Empowerment Through Social Media
The workshop witnessed the participation of around 160 social media influencers from across the state. Pednekar emphasized the potential of integrating Rajsakhi and social media to provide a new platform for women empowerment and social service. He urged influencers to help extend the reach of Rajsakhi and Rajeevika to every village through their digital presence.
He highlighted that the women associated with Rajsakhi produce high-quality products worth approximately ₹15,000 crore annually. Pednekar encouraged influencers to actively contribute to improving the lives of rural women and assured full support from the department in promoting Rajeevika's initiatives.
Influencers Pledge Support
Social media influencers from various districts of Rajasthan pledged their commitment to actively promote Rajeevika and Rajsakhi products on digital platforms. They promised to amplify awareness and market these products regularly, contributing to the mission of rural upliftment.

The workshop was graced by the presence of Ajay Kumar Arya, Project Director (Administration), Meena Neeru Tulsiram, State Project Manager (Administration), and Neeru Naruka, In-charge of the Rajeevika Social Media Team. Several Rajeevika officials were also in attendance, showcasing their collective commitment to the initiative.
